撮影を終えた後に届く、こうしたお客様からのお礼の言葉。
写真館の仕事は、ただ写真を撮ることではなく、
その人の人生や家族の物語に寄り添うことなのだと教えていただきます。
スマートフォンで誰でも簡単に写真を撮れる時代に、
なぜ人は写真館に来るのでしょうか。
その答えは、お客様の声や体験の中にあります。
ここでは、サクラスタジオに寄せられた「写真が紡いだ物語」をいくつかご紹介します。
父と娘の25年ぶりの写真
隠岐島に住む父が、東京で暮らす娘に会いに来ました。
そして25年ぶりに、二人で写真館に足を運んでくださいました。
父ひとり、娘ひとり。
照れくさそうに並んだ姿は、とても自然で、そして温かいものでした。
一枚の写真が、離れて暮らす二人の時間を静かにつなぎ直していきます。
夫婦の涙と約束
夫婦写真を撮り終え、その一枚を見ていた時。
突然、ご夫婦は涙を流されました。
理由を伺うと、翌日からがん治療のために奥さまが入院されるとのこと。
「写真を見て、希望が湧きました。克服してまた来ます」
そう言葉を残してくださいました。
一年半後、お二人は本当に戻ってきてくださいました。
病を乗り越えた笑顔の夫婦写真には、強さと愛情が満ちていました。
約束と別れ、そして残された写真
婚約者と共に来てくださった女性は、がんを患っていました。
「今月、片目を摘出する前に、ふたりの姿を残しておきたい」
そう語った彼女の表情は、希望に満ちていました。
しかし半年後、彼から届いた知らせは彼女の死でした。
「写真を撮ってよかった。両親もそう言っています」
その知らせに、私は3ヶ月間カメラを持てなくなりました。
けれど別のお客様が「あなたの仕事には意味がある」と励ましてくださり、再びシャッターを切ることができました。
写真は、生きた証を残す力を持っている。
それを忘れないために、今も私は撮り続けています。
写真がくれるもの
人生には、節目があります。
出会い、別れ、挑戦、そして日常。
写真館に来る理由は人それぞれですが、共通しているのは「大切な時間を未来に残したい」という思いです。
写真はただの記録ではなく、

They teach us that the job of a photo studio is not just to take photos,
but to be a part of each person's life and family story.
In an age where anyone can easily take photos with a smartphone,
why do people come to photo studios?

A photo of a father and daughter for the first time in 25 years
A father living on Oki Island came to visit his daughter living in Tokyo.
And for the first time in 25 years, the two of them visited the photo studio together.
Father and daughter alone.
Their awkward appearance standing side by side was both natural and warm.
A single photograph quietly reconnects the time spent together between two people living apart.
A Couple's Tears and Promises
After taking a couple's photograph, I was looking at one of them.
Suddenly, the couple burst into tears.
When I asked why, I learned that the wife would be hospitalized the next day for cancer treatment.
"Seeing the photograph gave me hope. I'll overcome it and come back."
These were her final words.
A year and a half later, the couple truly returned.
The photograph of the smiling couple, who had overcome illness, was filled with strength and love.
A Promise, Farewell, and the Photograph Left Behind
A woman who came with her fiancé was suffering from cancer.
"I want to capture a photo of us together before I have one of my eyes removed this month," she said, her face filled with hope.
However, six months later, he contacted me with news of her passing.
"I'm glad I took the photograph. My parents say the same."
This news prevented me from picking up my camera for three months.
However, another customer encouraged me, saying, "Your work has meaning," and I was able to take pictures again.
Photographs have the power to preserve proof of life.
To ensure that I never forget this, I continue to take photographs.
What photography gives us
Life is filled with milestones.
Meetings, partings, challenges, and everyday life.
Everyone has their own reasons for visiting a photo studio, but one thing they all share: the desire to preserve precious moments for the future.
